SALES POLICY

The owner of the online store amiicandles.ee (hereinafter referred to as the “Online Store”) is Rico OÜ (registration code 11562267), located at Jaama 15, Haapsalu 90507.

Validity of the Sales Agreement, Product, and Price Information

These terms and conditions apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store.

The prices of the products sold in the Online Store are indicated next to the products. A fee for the delivery of goods is added to the price.

The delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the delivery method chosen. The delivery fee will be displayed to the buyer during the order process.

Information about the goods is provided directly next to the product in the Online Store.

Placing an Order

To order a product, the desired items must be added to the shopping cart. To complete the order, the required data fields must be filled in, and a suitable delivery method selected. The total cost will then be displayed, which can be paid via Montonio’s payment solution.

The agreement comes into force from the moment the amount payable is credited to the Online Store’s bank account.

If the ordered product cannot be delivered due to the product being out of stock or for any other reason, the buyer will be notified as soon as possible, and the money paid (including delivery costs) will be refunded, usually within 1-2 business days. Depending on the payment method, the refund may take up to 7 business days.

Delivery

Products are shipped to the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Austria, Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal.

The buyer bears the delivery costs, and the relevant price information is displayed next to the delivery method.

The following options are available for receiving orders made in the Online Store:

  • Itella SmartPOST parcel lockers. Price in Estonia €2.55
  • DPD parcel lockers. Price in Estonia €2.65
  • Omniva parcel lockers. Price in Estonia €2.75
  • Venipak parcel lockers. Price in Estonia €1.83
  • Pick up in person (Jaama 15, Haapsalu). Free
  • Free delivery to parcel lockers in Estonia for orders over €45.

Orders are handed over to the designated delivery service provider within 1-3 business days from the agreement being concluded.

Once the package has been shipped, you will receive a notification to the email address provided at the time of the order. The delivery time depends on the delivery service provider, and we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the delivery provider. Please note that shipping may take longer during Black Friday and the pre-Christmas period.

In exceptional cases, we have the right to deliver goods within up to 30 calendar days.

If the Online Store has informed the buyer on the website or in the order confirmation of delivery problems and a delivery time exceeding 30 calendar days, the term published by the Online Store will apply.

Right of Withdrawal

After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the Online Store within 14 days. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.

The 14-day return right applies to unused and unopened goods returned in undamaged packaging.

The notice of withdrawal from the order must be sent to the email address info@amiicandles.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods.

The buyer bears the return costs unless the reason for the return is that the product does not meet the order (e.g., the wrong or defective item).

The buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal notice to Rico OÜ at the address Jaama 15, Haapsalu 90507 or provide proof that the goods have been handed over to the carrier within this period.

Upon receiving the returned goods, the Online Store will refund the buyer without delay, but no later than 14 days from receiving the withdrawal notice, all payments received from the buyer under the contract.

The Online Store may withhold the refund until the goods that are the subject of the contract have been returned, or the buyer has provided proof of returning the goods, whichever occurs first.

The Online Store has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and demand the return of the goods if the price of the goods in the Online Store has been significantly lower than the market price due to a mistake.

Safety

It is crucial to follow the usage and safety instructions for the products. Rico OÜ is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use or failure to follow the usage and safety instructions.

Candle Safety Instructions

When using candles, always carefully follow the safety instructions. Safety instructions are provided on the products with relevant pictograms.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended. Although the flame is small, it can cause significant damage. Always ensure that the candle is extinguished when leaving the house or going to bed.
  • Keep away from children and pets. Children and pets may accidentally knock over a candle, and their fur or hair may easily catch fire.
  • Keep away from flammable objects. Ensure the area around the candle is clear. The candle flame can easily ignite nearby objects. The minimum distance from other objects should be at least 30 cm, and from other candles at least 10 cm.
  • Use a heat-resistant base. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface. Ensure that the candle cannot fall off the base. Suitable bases include stone and glass. A burning candle without a heat-resistant base can damage your furniture.
  • Burn the candle until the entire surface melts. Allow enough time for burning, as each candle has a memory. If you extinguish the candle before the entire surface melts, the candle will remember this and burn only within that area in the future.
  • Trim the wick to 0.5 cm before the next burn. A flame that is too large can cause soot. Extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight it if desired.
  • Ensure that no pieces of burnt wick remain in the wax. If pieces of burnt wick fall into the wax, extinguish the candle and remove the pieces with a sharp object.
  • Do not throw matches into the candle wax. Never throw matches (even burnt ones) into the wax, as they can reignite.
  • Do not burn the candle for more than 2-3 hours at a time.
  • Use a snuffer to extinguish the candle. This will prevent wax from splattering and keep the candle’s surroundings clean.
  • Do not burn the candle to the very end. For safety reasons, extinguish the candle when 2 cm of wax remains. Burning the last bit can cause the candle glass to become too hot and break.

Right to Submit a Complaint

The Online Store is responsible for any non-compliance or defects in the goods sold to the buyer that were present at the time of delivery and that manifest within two years of the delivery of the goods to the buyer. For the first year, it is assumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the Online Store to disprove this assumption.

The buyer must notify the Online Store of any defect within two months of its discovery by sending an email to info@amiicandles.ee or calling 56673724.

The Online Store is not responsible for defects that have occurred after the goods have been handed over to the buyer due to the buyer’s actions or inactions (e.g., improper use, accident, etc.) or for normal wear and tear due to regular use.

If the goods purchased from the Online Store have defects for which the Online Store is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Online Store will refund the buyer all fees incurred under the sales agreement.

The Online Store will respond to the consumer’s complaint in writing or in a form that allows written reproduction within 15 days.

Dispute Resolution

If the buyer has any complaints regarding the Online Store, they should be sent by email to info@amiicandles.ee or by phone at 56673724.

If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer can turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee. You can review the terms and submit an application here. The Consumer Disputes Committee is authorized to resolve disputes arising from agreements between the buyer and the Online Store. The buyer’s complaint in the committee is free of charge.

The buyer can also turn to the European Union’s online dispute resolution platform.
